Patients requiring physician-supervised 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care are eligible to be admitted to Roper Rehabilitation Hospital. You will be assessed for your condition, as well as any other related conditions, during a pre-admission screening within 48 hours before your planned admission.

To be placed in an inpatient rehabilitation program, the 24-hour intensive services must be reasonable and necessary to treat your condition. Certain diagnoses and symptoms will be considered when evaluating the level of care you may need for your specific condition.

Your functional goals and progress timeframes will be defined after admission evaluations are completed. Once you have achieved your anticipated outcomes or reached the best possible recovery in your inpatient rehab program, you will be discharged according to your ongoing care plan. Other reasons for discharge may include a change in the severity of your medical condition or limited progress toward your expected outcome.
